The goal is to use card drawing and discarding to create legitimate sets and sequences. While a sequence is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, a set is madrummy royalty apke up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. After drawing a card from the deck or the discard pile, each player discards one card from their hand.
